Epidemiology - identification of systemic problems in the project environment

Epidemiology

We use a simple set of questions to identify and report potential problem areas on a wide range of projects, complete detailed checklists on representative projects for each potential problem area and report specific problems

Problems on projects may be unique to the project or may be the result of systemic problems in the project environment. By asking a few simple questions, these can be quickly determined. Once problem areas have been identified, key questions can be asked to determine specific issues, which can then be reported.

Cost and time will depend on the portfolio of projects covered, but should be value driven. The exercise can be conducted by 'phone and e-mail, or face-to-face.
